Kenya/Ethiopia:
BLESS GOD that the first few lessons of CCH have been translated
into Amharic, and have been taken to the printer for the new SLM work
in Ethiopia. Jack Stiles reports that SLM has
permission to work in Ethiopia. Please pray for Genet Kassahun
who will be the office manager of the new office in Addis
Ababa. Jack also reports that born-again policemen in Kerugoya hosted
an SLM-EA evangelistic crusade in which 24 people were saved; the SLM
ministry to police is growing rapidly, and prayer is requested for
expansion to regions outside of Nairobi.
TESTIMONY: “My
sincere gratitude goes to the author of LDM for the books have
enabled me to understand dating and how to date wisely. More so, they
have really made me determined to retain my purity, as it is the most
wonderful gift that I could offer my future husband.” –
Matuga Girls H.S.
“We
met at Kibos School for the Blind and we became close friends. One
thing we had no peace about was our blindness, why God could not
prevent this bad thing from happening to us. But the SLM preacher
came to our school and told us that spiritual blindness is far worse
than physical, and that Jesus Christ drove away spiritual blindness
to make you new. That day both of us decided to follow Jesus Christ
as our Lord and Saviour. He drove away the bitterness that kept us
away from God. We can now understand things very clearly, and we hope
one day, one time in Heaven we shall see things very well, because
God has saved us.” – Unice and Mary
Liberia:
Director Sampson Hinneh praises God for the 1st
Leadership Meeting with kids held outside of the capital. About 100
kids attended the 3-week program of sharing the Gospel, Bible
quizzing, sports and games. Please pray that Bible lessons will
get to Sampson in Liberia for his use – this is a vital and
urgent need.

Please continue to pray for Sanya and Bosun Dosunmu as

God for a report recently received from Pastor David Ajayi who

continuing to conduct 6 discipleship groups through his church.

for increased petrol prices 4) for Sika’s full recovery from
malaria.
Testimonies:
“While
I have studied your lessons, I have found out the real way to go to
Heaven. Formerly, I lived doing bad things, but attending church.
Through the light of the Bible lesson, I learn to receive Jesus
Christ as my personal Saviour…with LDM, I can say from now on
I will live only with my wife in the fear of God.”
“All of your
courses lead me to Christ, but LDM lessons really teach…because
I learn about love, fornication, how to choose my future wife and
faithfulness. I believe that the lessons are very helpful because
God guided His people to write them to young men. I want to share my
joy with you.”
South
Africa: Praise God with Fanie Buys for the many
letters they receive requesting Bible courses, and the expansion of
the prison ministry. Please pray for his wife, Cornelia, who was
recently diagnosed with breast cancer; she had a mastectomy on
Oct.31. She will need further chemotherapy, so please pray for her.
“She is such a testimony at this time, calm and trusting Jesus
through the operation and for what’s ahead.”
