Providing the tools to finish the task

This statement explains us and our mission. We understand “the task” as the evangelization and discipling of all nations. That effort results in church planting, and then the cycle begins again.

The task is “finished” when every person, from every tribe, and tongue, and nation, has received the message of the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life though the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and has had an opportunity to respond.

The “tools” for this task are the Bible courses that are used so effectively for both evangelism and discipleship, and these range in scope from courses for the youngest children, to college level studies in theology.

The word “Providing” tells what we at Source of Light Ministries Int. do, every working day, of every month, of every year, and will continue to do, as God enables, until our Savior returns. Millions of courses are sent to students all over the world from thousands of locations as a result of the continuous job of producing and printing and distributing that never ends here at SLM.
