Source of Light's Purpose

Source of Light Ministries International exists to bring people of every nation, language and ethnicity into a mature relationship with Jesus Christ and into fellowship with a local church family. In order to achieve these purposes, SLM carries on the following activities:

Disseminate gospel literature, portions of Scripture, and Bible correspondence courses into the hands of the multitudes in as many lands and languages as possible (Matthew 28:19-20).

Both Scripture and experience teach us that the entrance of God’s Word brings light and that “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). It is both the purpose and the ongoing activity of SLM therefore to distribute that message through the printed page in as many ways as possible.

Evangelize ( in over 80 countries)

We seek to propagate by all means the Good News that Jesus Christ came to earth, died for our sins, and rose again to give us victory over sin now, and eternal life hereafter. We seek to tell every individual how they can trust Christ for their salvation and have assurance of full acceptance with God right now.

We further seek to build up fellow believers, encouraging them to know how to live a life that will attract others to the Savior.

We are in the process of training Christians to know and follow the Word of God -- the Bible. As they do so, they will become fruitful followers of Jesus Christ.

By providing study and training materials, we seek to help establish local churches and strengthen those that already exist.
