Uganda’s Mudslide: An update from Aloni

Yes the whole of yesterday I spent in the Camp of the Landslides’ victims to establish how we can move in with SLM materials, which we stopped at creating friendship through prayer and giving some food and clothing assistance first, some of my people are not seen yet in this crowd of needy people, where [...]

A letter received from Guillermo and Vicky Salazar at 9:05pm Sunday, the 28th of February.
Hello. Here we are. The electricity has returned, but we still do not have water. The local government is sending water in trucks to meet the need. We finally could fill up our car at the gas station. We cannot leave [...]

Haiti News March

This morning we had our first church service at Maozo led by 2 deacons of our church just to see if there would be enough interest to think about having regular services. This has been a desire of our church since November to go out to our “Judea” and we are now doing it. Unbelievably, [...]

our house and went to see downtown Port au Prince and the surrounding area.
We decided that the early morning hours would be best before the [...]

This is not going to be a long email since it’s the middle of the day and I
Only have to get up and there will be something else for me to do.  Medical
teams keep coming in and out as they trade personnel from locale to locale,
so it keeps this place hopping.  Arthur, where are [...]

Subject: We’re still here!

Good Morning everyone,

I’m sure the news is out that we had another quake this morning, but it was only for 4 seconds and caused no real damage where we are. I was busy making breakfast for the medical teams that are out, and it sure woke them all up with a start! I then really had to hurry my breakfast preparations since they were awake a little before I thought they would be. They were all pretty amazed about what it was like, but it really was nothing to compare to the real quake. This was more like a little jostle.
