Source of Light Finances

  • A Faith Ministry

We depend on God to provide the needs of the ministry and the support of our missionaries. We are not endowed or backed by any organization or denomination. As God burdens churches and Christian friends to give, we continue in the work. If you would like to help financially, please check the needs and/or contact us. All contributions will be used carefully and prayerfully.

  • Tax-Exemption

Source of Light Ministries is recognized as a tax-exempt organization in accordance with the U.S. Treasury Department, as provided under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Service Code. All gifts are tax-deductible for Federal Estate and Gift Tax purposes under provision of Sections 2055, 2106 and 2522 of the Code.

All contributions are promptly receipted and acknowledged. The records of receipts and expenditures are carefully kept in the Ministries' office according to standard bookkeeping methods, and are audited yearly by an accredited auditor.

  • Cost of Courses

Basic Source of Light courses are printed and sent without charge to all students. Believing that some want to contribute toward the expenses, we may suggest a donation. However, we want people to feel free to take a basic course even without donating.

Bulk shipments of basic courses and other literature to our Associate Schools are accompanied by shipping invoices which give the cost of materials and postage so that the recipient may cover their expense. Those who are unable to fully cover literature cost may apply, in advance, for a subsidy approval to help with this expense. Subsidies are limited by the availability of funds. We cannot guarantee subsidies for all applicants. These subsidies only relate to literature our Associate Schools use; they are not cash subsidies.

The cost for our World Wide LIT courses (our advanced studies) vary. Please see information about this cost on the World Wide LIT page.
