Darryl & Joan Evans

The New Mexico Branch was started in 1979, by George and Mary Baker known as “Bible Studies By Mail.”  Mrs. Rosita Beam, an SLM missionary, handles the Spanish lessons from prison inmates and ministers in the jails. The fourth and current director is Darryl Evans. He and his wife Joan are missionaries with Serving In Mission (SIM) on-loan to Source of Light. After serving in Bolivia and Chile for 19 years, they moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico where Darryl became the director and Joan the office administrator.
